My overall experience was fast and savory.The interactive menu let me see the whole menu; good for first timers. The food came out fast. The only problem is the small compact location.

Food is fantastic. It's a Japanese noodle and rice restaurant with both food for meat eaters and vegans.

This place is quite good but their service is where it lacks. The staff I have found to be rude every time I go there. Which is disappointing considering it is the only decent ramen place in town. It may be that being busy stresses some staff members out but overall it's not the nicest environment. Mostly from the cashiers, when the chefs have taken my order when they are very understaffed they are always nice and accommodating.Update to more stars, the staff is still pretty rude bit it has been to other customers and less to me latley!

The katsudon (with a "k" haha) is good 👍

We had a teriyaki bowl and ramen. Both were tasty, but the ramen could have been a little more spicy.

Great Ramen and quick service. An Asahi and a bowl of ramen while sitting on the patio on a cold night!! We will definitely repeat that recipe for a good night.

Great food as usual. Never disappointed. Small place. Lunch rush is normally at noon. Affordable pricing.

Really good place to visit. Close to campus. But because it's location is on a busy corner it's easy to miss .The ramen is large size servings. The prices are decent.Raku ramen and salmon rice bowls is what we ordered. We love coming g here. The food portions are hig though, so you can easily share. This visit we didnt share and we ended up throwing half of it away because we just didnt want to carry around the left overs. Next time we will be smarter and just take the left overs for later. This place is a must try.

10/10 definitely would come again, great service and good food, if you guys like Ramen I recommend the Shoyu Ramen for it has great taste and flavor and the noodles are smooth like silk and go down flavorful, this is a good place to stop by and have lunch. 👍👍👍👍👍 🍲🍲🍲

The 'best' ramen in town, since it's pretty much the only ramen in town. Compared to other ramen shops in larger urban areas, it's a bit below average. Beef is overcooked, egg was not runny and was fully cooked as well.

My tempura ramen was tasty. Much better than my partners food. So hit or miss on their items. I liked being able to dine outside though.

Why? Why are you so delicious? Is it the freshly made noodles? The bright veggies? The rich broths??? The insanely delicious yuzu lemonade??? I don't know. But please just never go away, okay? Literally everything is here is amazing. From the tonknsu ramen to the ahi tuna jalapeño poppers...the curry noodles. Just order one of everything. Gets super crowded during lunch hours, but it's worth the wait!!

Good option for mixed diners (carnivore/veg), something for everyone. Veggie tempura is a nice serving.

Great ramen. Pretty good selection and it's easy to customize if they don't have exactly what you want.

I love Raku, their portions are pretty good and if you're feeling hungry just add a small rice bowl to your ramen for cheap!

Best Ramen I've ever had. Their stuffed jalapeños are, hands down, also the best I've ever had- I wanna go back just for those! Eating here on a rainy night is a beautiful, delicious, experience.

When you go to a Japanese restaurant and it is filled with Asians, you know that you have come to the right place. The food was great, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the price was right.

The Basil soup was hot and refreshingly different from the traditional Pho.

Noodles were good, portions were small, only got one piece of over cooked pork, the egg was also over cooked. Good for a quick bite, but don’t expect a wow.

None of the cooks wear masks, very unsanitary. Only eat here if you want to risk getting sick.

I had the Miso Ramen reccomended to me for my first time so I would reccomend it myself. It's different from what I'm use to eating but i did enjoy it. It's always good to try new things so you can start with that. Its also very affordable.

Probably the number 1 location in SLO if you are sick and it's a rainy day. The Curry Beef Udon is a top tier rainy day with a bad cold dish. Forget the Sudafed fam. Only issue is on a cold rainy day you might not have a space to sit because normally they rely on outdoor seating to keep things less crowded.

Always a great place to eat. Arrive before 12 noon to beat the lunch rush. An unusual thing happened on my last visit. A good number of small flies were flying around close to the food..... if it there were no flies I would of rated 5*..

My favorite SLO lunch. While the ramen is great, the Chashu Don is my #1

One of my favorite places to eat on this side of town. The ramen is really good. They also have some other selections and side dishes available if you want to have something else.

Wonderful Ramen!!!! The Bone Broth is wonderful, I had the Miso Vegetarian Broth, It is Fantastic! I would definitely recommend this place.

It's the perfect place for ramen cravings. Clean environment. Polite staff. Simple and delicious menu. I order the vegetable ramen and my boyfriend loves to order the raku ramen. We always order the heart attack for an appetizer.

Good enough. Food, location and ambiance are good. Service is good if you tip when you pay. The tempera was nice and not heavily breaded. Miso ramen was ok, nothing special. You're given a lot of options so maybe I'll have to try that next time.

The Raku ramen was probably too spicy for me, but so delicious I couldn't stop eating. The pork cutlet was crisp and tender, the noodles perfect, and the vegetables fresh.

Worth your time and money. The location is cozy and the flavors are great. Not quite top-notch when it comes to the noodle texture and spices but still worth a try. The seaweed salad was good and they have a few beers to try. Aside from that the classic spicy tonkatsu ramen is what you see pictured.
